Workplace wellness refers to the projects companies undertake to promote their employees’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Workplace wellness has gained significant traction recently as employers recognise the benefits of having healthy, happy employees. It has become crucial in modern workplaces as companies strive to create a healthier and more productive workforce.

So, why did I decide to write about workplace wellness? 

Firstly, it is a trending topic in today’s business world. You will benefit if you stay current with this area’s latest developments as an employee or entrepreneur. 

In second place, workplace wellness is relevant to various industries and professions, making it widely applicable.

Thirdly, understanding and implementing workplace wellness initiatives is increasingly becoming a key consideration for companies looking to attract and retain top talent. 

Lastly, promoting workplace wellness can positively impact both individuals and society, and we must spread awareness and encourage positive change in the workplace.


Therefore the first article, “What is workplace wellness, and why is it important?” explains workplace wellness and its benefits for employees. I discuss strategies and barriers to workplace wellness and how you can advocate for it. 

But you may wonder: “What lies at the heart of workplace well-being?” At the heart lies your “inner work life.” I look at the effects of your inner work life in your workplace and the factors that influence it. Then I discuss two fundamental aspects: the power of constructive feedback and recognition. And autonomy and social support. You will also find two case studies showing positive inner lives’ effects.

Studies show that up to 80% of employees worldwide have experienced some form of toxicity in their workplace. Therefore I give tips on surviving it in “How to Survive a toxic workplace.” Firstly, you will discover how to recognise an unhealthy work environment and identify its effects on you. There are tips to survive and ways to address issues with your management. Finally, there are tips to look for a new job if necessary.

As always, there is an article to help you empower your child. In A Better Inner Life for your child in School,” we discuss the factors that influence your child’s inner life at school. You can read about the effects of negative inner life and how to empower your child for the future.
